President’s Message

On behalf of the officers and members of the Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae (MDA) Chapter, we welcome you to our virtual home.  Since the day of our charter on August 8, 1985, we have strived as sisters to improve the quality of life in Dallas, TX,  building a rich legacy of dedicated service to the metropolitan community by promoting academic excellence, encouraging community and social activism, and providing solutions to community concerns. Our work is designed to ensure that the communities we serve — and the people who live in them — thrive. In the spirit of our 22 illustrious Founders, we are committed to building a legacy that is based on sisterhood, scholarship and service.

Our award winning chapter is comprised of a very diverse and distinguished group of 200+ college-educated women who offer their time, talents and resources to empower and educate our community.  This biennium, we will widen our horizons and look beyond our normal limits as we embrace our charge to Think B.I.G., Act B.I.G., and set out to accomplish B.I.G. results.
  • Build lasting sisterly relationships
  • Impact communities by leveraging our collective strength
  • Grow leaders and continue to achieve greatness
If you are seeking a Delta home, we invite you to attend our chapter meetings, community projects and sisterhood events. MDA welcomes you with sisterly love and open arms.  Our meetings occurs on the 1st Saturday of each month at 10 a.m.

Follow us on social media and visit our website frequently to explore our calendar for opportunities to partner with MDA or support our programs and events. We look forward to providing continuous updates and building a stronger relationship with our community and partners that allows us to bring #Joy in our Sisterhood, #Power in our Voice and #Service in our Heart.
