Welcome to the website of the Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae (MDA) Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about our organization. Since our chartering on August 8, 1985, MDA has served communities within Dallas County by providing selfless volunteerism, helpful insight on relevant community matters and programs that are reflective of our Sorority’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust:
- Educational Development
- Economic Development
- International Awareness and Involvement
- Physical and Mental Health
- Political Awareness and Involvement
It is indeed a privilege and an honor to serve as Chapter President of the Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae Chapter. With the help of dedicated members and input from concerned constituents, we will uphold the ideals of our 22 Illustrious Founders by continuing their legacy of SISTERHOOD, SCHOLARSHIP & SERVICE. The motivated members of MDA will Move Delta Ahead as we Serve, Lead and Grow through Empowerment: uplifting one another as we heighten our impact in the community. Our chapter membership is comprised of a kaleidoscope of over 150 college-educated women who have broad backgrounds and history of selfless dedication to the Sorority and the community at-large.
If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and are looking for a chapter, MDA is a great place to call home! Please join us for chapter meeting on the 1st Saturday of each month at 10am at One Delta Place located in the Historic South Dallas area at 2525 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Dallas, TX 75215.
