The Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae (MDA) Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., hosted the Fourth Annual "An Evening Among Stars: A Crimson and Cream Affair" on Saturday, March 15, 2008. The event will be held at The Dallas Trade Mart Building of the Dallas Market Center, in the heart of metropolitan Dallas. The event benefits the chapter’s scholarship program, and helps to support other educational initiatives conducted by the organization.
The “Crimson and Cream Affair" serves as a major source of funding for the organization. Proceeds from this event grossed over eight thousand dollars. Our expectation is to donate more than twenty-five thousand dollars to go directly to awarding scholarships for graduating seniors and to support other educational initiatives. The real “cream of the crop” students will be honored and will receive scholarship funds to help with educational cost at their school of admittance.
Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae is looking forward to hosting the 4th Annual Crimson and Cream event on March 15, 2008 at the Dallas Trade Mart Building. We look forward to seeing you there “Among the Stars”.
